Soundless animated gifs are popular moving digital images that can be beautiful and moving, or simply laugh out loud funny. Collaborative work is challenging in art because of its nature to be a true expression to oneself. Adding words to these images adds further challenges as it leans towards design. But why? Is the artist the one who pressed the shutter or the visionary that gave it text and meaning?
