LAURA CHELINI

Laura Chelini grew up with the influence of her artistic parents, in Beverly Shores, Indiana.  Her father was an oil painter and wood carver, and her mother made character dolls and worked in ceramics. Laura studied art education at Purdue University and McHenry County College. She worked with various instructors, learning to work in different mediums.  She has studied oil, watercolor and acrylic painting. Her most recent studies have been in portrait, palette knife and landscape at Naples Art Center. Chelini has been awarded prizes and commissions for her work.
